Introduction to
Video Production I |
This beginner's course will help you use your smartphone to record and edit basic video and audio recordings. Using a tripod or hand stabilizer to hold your video steady. It will also show you how to use wired or wireless microphone setups to get the best audio from your smart phone.
We will also talk about pre-production planning. This step in the process cannot be overlooked. There are many things to consider BEFORE you begin recording. A few minutes of planning will save hours of delayed production and hours in post-production trying to "fix it".

Introduction to
Video Production II. |
This course is designed to teach additional terminology, planning, equipment, and fundamental operations used in professional video production. Emphasis includes the fundamentals of technical operation of video camera and post-production resources. We will also introduce team skills in a studio and field video shooting environment. You will gain experience and knowledge in performing on-camera interviews, lighting technics, microphone use, and 2-camera video switching.

Introduction to
Audio Production. |
This class will prepare you to create news, educational or community audio programs (podcast) for distribution on the internet or radio. This is a 4-week class and will cover an overview of audio production including pre-production planning, equipment overview and operation, production of the primary content, and post-production of the final program using available audio editing software. The class will be able to get your program started and provide you with the information and training to make a finished program by the end of this class.
